YouTube & WhiteHouse.gov vs. MSM

Drudge Driving More YouTube Hits Than WhiteHouse.gov – Digits – WSJ.

This link examines the healthcare issue by comparing web traffic at Drudge Report vs. WhiteHouse.gov, and what I found interesting is there is no mention of MSM.

There was a time when CBS, NBC & ABC drove the national discussion about current events – but that time is passing if it hasn’t already faded from sight.

Personally I stopped paying attention to MSM a few years ago, however I think the vast majority of people are now either realizing MSM biases or coming to the conclusion that news on the web is so much more reliable… like, if you have a question about nearly any detail it’s easy to google for background and dig as deep as you like.

No slanted views from Columbia School of Journalism editors are needed.
